Manage Your Products!
This utility will allow you to manage your data via a combination of partial or full uploads, which can be updates or overwrites of the Product table. When you import, we copy your data to a back-up table, copy production to your test table, and import your data to a test table to make sure the data is complete and without errors. Once the import goes correctly, you can then copy the updates back to production. This import/checking process keeps you from accidentally deleting your production table and allows you to fix your data without having to take your site off-line. The first few time you do this we'll be there to make sure you manage the process correctly! When you want to export data, we allow you to select just the specific columns of data you prefer. This way, you can focus on updating only the columns you need to when you re-upload. Our "Strict Inventory Control" process would use this method for updating the site.
