Choose your Checkout Method!
How you choose your checkout method will vary based on your business needs. Our checkout page is designed to allow calculations to be made using JavaScript, so users do not need to refresh their browser to see new totals. Our inventory control version will not allow users to modify the contents of their cart at the checkout page. In this version, we allow customers to change their quantity, but the prices and totals are never editable (they recalculate with each quantity change). The checkout method used will slightly vary based on your business requirements. Fully automated options of setting up your checkout page include the UPS & USPS rates from their rate servers and an Authorize.net vendor for the online tansaction service. Your method for taking credit card information will vary based on the number of transactions you will transact per day. Some companies will use a realtime transaction service, a batch upload service, or simply manage orders through an in-house system already in place. We set up what your business needs to have happen. Taxes can be set for multiple states (where incorporated) and are added in when the user selects the state for delivery. Shipping for UPS or USPS is based on shipping ZIP code entered. Memory function saves customer info as a cookie on the browser, which saves them time entering information for repeat orders.
